The birth of a new church

The past 2 days have been very successful. On Wednesday, we traveled back from Danli and spent several hours price shopping for the needs of our home here. We have decided that it just makes more sense to buy here, rather than send the things from the U.S., due to the cost and difficulty of shipping. We purchased a refrigerator, and mattresses for all 3 rooms. It was a long day, but we felt that we got the answers that we needed. Yesterday, after a good night's sleep, we purchased a few more things in Talanga, enough that Bro. Edwin and Br. Rigo are able to live in the house. Bro. Edwin is a carpenter, and he is going to make bed frames, closets, and cabinets. Last night, we made history as we had the first service in our new home. the Body of Christ has been birthed in Los Charcos! The house is only 2 houses down from Bro. Geinrre's, so we have family as neighbors! We had a sweet service, with several people sharing their heart, and voicing committment to go this way with us. There is a lot of work to do, but we pray that these young men will be up to the task, with God's help. This morning we are up bright and early, and preparing for another day Bible study with Bro. Misael. Our time is drawing to a close, but we know the work will continue!
