It's over...... but it's only the beginning

In a few minutes, Bro. Geinrre will be here to pick us up to start the long trip home. What a rewarding trip this has been! Last night's service was the icing on the cake. We had a good service, and thought we were ready to leave. But they weren't finished! First, the young people that Bro. Geinrre has been working with got up and they sang several of our songs! He's changing me, I will follow thee, and He's given me life for my soul. Then people began one by one to get up and express their appreciation or what they had learned while we were here. All of the young men got up- Bro. Rigo, Luis, Gustavo, Sis. Nancy, and several others= some whom we didn't even know were really recieiving anything! Bro. Misael said very kind words of thankfulness of what we had all done for his church; the family training, the example of the young people, it has all been so important this trip. This is something that has never happened before, In fact, most of these people had never stood in their church to say anything! It was such evidence of what God is going in this little church. Your financial donations are not in vain! Our time is not in vain! They are all begging us to come back soon so they can hear more. We took a picture of several men in the church who had worn their white shirts and ties that you all donated! When service was over, many of the women came up to me in tears- again something that has never happened. They know that we love them, and they are beginning to love us as well. Bro. Misaels's wife told me she felt like I was her real sister! Truly they are beginning to understand the family of God. We pray that they can all apply what they have heard, and that the Lord will continue the work in them that He has started, just as He has done in all of us.
