Meal Preparation Duties
- Don’t set up all the tables if everyone isn’t at church (get an estimate of how many people are here)
- Set up tables in the back room if needed.
- Prepare coffee- 2 pots if most everyone is here. (instructions in drawer) (fill powder creamer, spoons, cups, and sugar if needed)(place liquid creamer on coffee cart)
- Make salads (around 50 if there are no guests)and place on cart to be put at the end of the serving line and refill salad dressing bottles if needed.
- Cut desserts and place on tables (there should be 4 desserts). Any leftover desserts that weren’t put on the tables can be placed under coffee cart.
- Ice in cups and put on tables at last minute or fill beforehand and leave in freezer until serving time
- Water and tea placed in pitchers and put on tables (There should be 3 sets per row)
- Cut air or heat on in dining room
- Wrap plastic ware in napkins and place on table. (May not need spoons for every meal)
- Fill salt and pepper shakers if needed.
- Refill napkins on the table
- Take care of birthdays and anniversaries.
