Our "tourist" days are over and we are ready for the next phase of services and seminars this week. We had an enjoyable day in Valle de Angeles yesterday, and we shopped until Bro. Finnicum dropped! We went back into the city where we ate dinner and restocked our drinks for the next week. It was another good day with a lot of fun and fellowship in the van. Bro. Geinrre's entire family was with us, as well as Nancy, Bro. Misael's daughter. She is learning English, so it was a very good opportunity for both her and Savana to practice their language skills.
The area we are working in, Talanga, is so very different from the city of Tegucigalpa. Here the traffic jams are not cars, but cows or burros! The people in the city are very pressured with time and money, while those here in the country live a more relaxed life, and seem to be less stressed. Certainly, we hope that the Lord allows us to take this gospel to the cities and other parts of the country, but for now, it seems that this is where the Lord is working, and we want to reach out to any who hunger for the truth. Today we will have an afternoon service with Bro. Misael. We planned it earlier in the day so that Bro. Cristian could bring his family. We are hoping that some of the other pastors will bring some of their people and meet with us there. It seems that bringing them together would be a great way to reach the most people at one time. Today we should have the opprtunity to share more songs. Please continue to pray for the Lord's will to be done this week. Tomorrow starts a 3 day marriage seminar, and we want to help these pastors with their own families, so they they might help the families in thier own churches
