We awoke this morning to a most exciting email telling us of the safe delivery of our new grandson, Malachi Hudson Finnicum. This makes number 6 for us, and we love them all and anticipate the time that they will be able to be a part of what we are doing here in Honduras. Welcome, Malachi!
Yesterday's last day of the seminar was very successful, with about 20 people attending. Bro. Finnicum taught about training the children in the home. That is a huge subject, and of course, he just barely touched the surface. There is such a great need for these kind of teachings here, and the Christians really want to hear it. Whether they will apply it remains to be seen! We had a second service last night with Bro. Betanco. They are a very small group of people and they are meeting in a living roon, but the Lord has met us there in a mighty way each time. We sang 4 of our songs, and Abigail helped to bring in the Spirit of the Lord as she worshipped. We sang some worship songs, then "I will follow thee" and Bro. Betanco even got his guitar and helped us on that one! The spirit was just beautiful. He is one of the pastors that opens up the service at the end for people to get prayer, and once again, the people pressed in. Even Eunice was raising her hands! We have invited his church to join us tonight at our last service with Bro. Misael. It seems impossible that our time is up. The Lord has been with us in a great way. It is obvious to see which of the pastors and churches are hungry to hear more, and we know that there are some who will be walking this way with us in the years to come. To say that this work is fulfilling is such an understatement. I just have to stand back and watch the Lord directing our path. We do look forward to coming home and seeing you all. Without your support in finances and especially prayer, we could not be here. Thank you for your investment in the Kingdom of God. We bring a little of all of you each time we come. Let's build the Body!
